What is consignment?
At Olde Town Consign we accept nothing less than the best! Most of the items OTC accepts are in next to perfect if not perfect condition and can still be found in your local furniture stores. Consignment basically means you place your furniture or home decor in our hands for us to sell for you while you're still the owner of those items.
Why would I consign?
There are so many reasons to consign! Most people consign when they are moving, redecorating, or downsizing their homes. You could use Craigslist, EBay, Facebook, or simply throw the items away. However, you would be causing yourself much more time, work, and stress and may be throwing away your hard earned cash! Why go through the trouble when OTC can do all of your work for you?
Why should I partner with Old Town Consign?

What items can I consign?
We accept most items you can find in your house like furniture, antiques, and home decor. We are looking for anything that will add beauty or value to someone else's home! We are especially interested in unique pieces, upscale furniture, and home decor. However, we try to keep a mix of styles and prices so that there is something for everyone. If you have any additional questions, feel free to check out our What to Consign page!
How should I get my items to you?
To start please send us an email with a picture and a detailed description of your item(s) at firstname.lastname@example.org with any useful information about the product (purchase year, material, store purchased from, condition). We will do our very best to be in touch within 48 hours. After we've approved your items, you can make an appointment to bring your items in or just drop by for us to check them out again on site. Although OTC doesn't have a moving company, we would be happy to recommend some of our favorite movers to you.
What do I make from the consignment?
$1-$199: 50% consigner | 50% Olde Town Consign
$200 and above: 55% consigner | 45% Olde Town Consign
How long is the consignment period?
At OTC, each contract is set for a 90-day period. There will be a 10% price reduction for every 30 days your item is on consignment. (i.e 10% at 30 days and an additional 10% at 60 days).
What if my items don't sell after 90 days?
Maybe it wasn't meant to be! After 90 days, the item can be picked up before the 7 days after the contract expires. After 97 days, if the item is not picked up it will be donated to a local charity. It will be your responsibility to keep track of the time period we have your item(s) for.
